Churches

Hello, welcome to Nettleham Methodist Church. We are part of the Lincoln North Circuit. Our Circuit Vision Statement is:

  • Discipleship – helping every believer to become mature in Christ, find their place within the Body of Christ and to identify and exercise their gifts and ministries for the common good.

  • Mission – sharing the good news of the gospel so that by the Holy Spirit many may recognise their need to be saved and respond to the one and only Saviour, Jesus Christ. Mission extends beyond evangelism and incorporates acts of service, responding to society’s needs and demonstrating the unconditional love of our Lord.

  • Unity of Purpose – The Circuit should be more than the sum of its parts. Each congregation represents the love of God to its own community. The Circuit acts strategically, supporting, co-ordinating, enabling, equipping, releasing and marshalling the Kingdom resources at its disposal to see Circuit wide growth.

  • Changing the Atmosphere – Bringing flavour, preservation and illumination. Touching lives so that people are glad that the church is positively influencing individuals, organisations and wider society. The church through its love, its action and its teaching will be a thermostat, raising the spiritual temperature of the area.

  • Kingdom People – pleased to be called Methodists, shaped by history and heritage we are first and foremost God people following the Master. We seek to work with all who love God to see lives and situations transformed by the good news of Jesus.

United in one purpose, sharing good news, making disciples, changing the atmosphere and building the kingdom. By the word, through the Spirit for the Lord.
